For all: Blessing of the Animals at Mass on October 4

Please join us on Saturday, October 4, at 9 am in Georgetown for a special Mass in which we will have a Blessing of the Animals.

In honor of St. Francis, whose feast day is October 4, Father Burton is inviting all families to bring their pets and other family animals to Mass for a special blessing.

Yes, you read that right, your pets are being welcomed into the church for a special blessing!

Maybe. Father Burton has organized a series of youth Masses (the first one was awesome) on some Sunday evenings with more of a faith and worship feel to the music. Come and check it out, if you want! They’re open to everyone! The next one is Sunday, October 5 at 5:30 pm in Georgetown. — Annie
